Delaware North’s hotel near Rocky Mountain National Park recently announced it will host the inaugural Wellderness™ festival in Estes Park, Colo., from May 31 through June 2.
The Ridgeline Hotel Estes Park will serve as the home base for the new festival, a weekend of health and fitness with a full schedule of activities that include outdoor fitness events, a health expo and wellness seminars to promote fitness, nutrition, self-care and self-exploration.
“It’s wellness in the wilderness — all in one of the most majestic locations in the United States, near two entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park,” the announcement said.
The Wellderness schedule of events includes a welcome reception at The Ridgeline Hotel, a 10K trail run, a 3.7-mile lake “fun run,” guided mountain bike ride, wellness seminars, group fitness events, health and fitness expo and brews & blues post-party. The festival will wrap up with a bloody Mary brunch at the hotel on June 2.
The Ridgeline Hotel will host the seminars and the health expo at the attached Estes Park Conference Center, which is also operated by Delaware North.
Participants can register for the 10K trail run, which includes admission to the health expo, at http://wellderness.com. In addition, special weekend packages that include a “Wellderness Passport” to all activities, plus two nights’ lodging at The Ridgeline Hotel, can be found here.
Delaware North acquired the hotel in 2016 and completed a multimillion-dollar renovation so that it now features a modern, rustic aesthetic and open layout that enhances the overall guest experience. The hotel features the popular Latitude 105 Alehouse, an indoor swimming pool, outdoor fire pits, game room and bicycle rentals onsite. It also offers tours of Rocky Mountain National Park on its new 15-passenger convertible bus.
Earlier this year the hotel became part of the Ascend Hotel Collection by Choice Hotels International.
