The Burnt Chef Projects honors Wembley Stadium team member

Jordy Meya, Football Association (FA) coordinator for Delaware North U.K. at Wembley Stadium in London, received the “Wellbeing Champion” award during the Hospitality’s Mental Health Heroes Awards hosted by The Burnt Chef Project June 16.

Delaware North U.K. is proud to partner with The Burnt Chef Project, a global organization that provides mental awareness resources and support to hospitality workers, including advocacy, training and resources to help end burnout in the hospitality field. 

Jordy Meya, FA coordinator for Delaware North at Wembley Stadium in London, was named the 2025 “Wellbeing Champion” by The Burnt Chef Project during its annual Hospitality’s Mental Health Heroes Awards hosted in London. Delaware North U.K. partners with The Burnt Chef Project to provide mental health resources and awareness for team members to help end the stigma of asking for help and mental health in the industry. 

“Jordy exemplifies true compassion for team members,” said Dave Rotheram, catering services director at Wembley Stadium. “He has led several efforts to boost engagement and morale at Wembley Stadium – from launching Wellness Wednesdays to organizing sports days and inspiring colleagues to take time for their mental and physical health.”  

Delaware North U.K. colleagues joined Meya at the awards reception.
