Delaware North’s Transformation Office has launched three core programs to address business priorities and align with the company’s performance aspirations. The transformation agenda was shared with team members during a live information session on May 27 at corporate headquarters in Buffalo and on Microsoft Teams.

The presentation was the company’s first look at the work underway to support the vision set during the Transformation Information Sessions hosted by company leaders throughout 2025. The team introduced itself and the different ways their work will enable operational excellence across the enterprise.

“[Our three core] programs were identified through a series of assessments where we identified what was most important to the business, and that’s what we are working on,” said Annmarie Vanini, vice president of transformation.

Vanini said all the work is rooted in consistent themes of improving the team member experience, standardizing processes and strengthening guardrails, while also being grounded in the company’s performance aspirations and priorities.

“How can we simplify process? How can we get better data? And how can we have a more collaborative way of working across the organization?” Heidi Martin, senior director of transformation, shared with team members. “Many of you may feel pain points and issues across the organization where process fails.”

The three core programs are focused on:

  • The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) framework, led by Keri Shaw, senior director of the Enterprise PMO.
  • HR transformation focused on onboarding, offboarding, payroll and data management, led by Sam Sowah, senior program manager.
  • Finance, operations and procurement transformation, focused on exploring an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and the culture around implementing an ERP, led by Nichole Tubiolo, principal program manager.

Team members who want to weigh in on any of these programs or have questions are encouraged to reach out directly to the team.

The Transformation Office will continue to update team members with news and information related to its programs.
