Team members give back, contributing to 250 Acts of Service

VOL 27 ISSUE 34, August 31, 2026

Main caption: Delaware North has a longstanding partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo, anchored through volunteerism and philanthropic support, including a $500,000 donation made in 2024 to help bring baseball and other organized sports back to the local clubs. On Aug. 20, team members from corporate headquarters and Sportservice at KeyBank center volunteered for a championship baseball game at a local clubhouse.

Delaware North teams have taken full advantage of the summer months by participating in outdoor activities such as youth sports, landscaping projects and community gardening in their local communities while also supporting the company’s goal of completing 250 Acts of Service by the end of the year.

As part of Delaware North’s yearlong celebration of America 250, the 250 Acts of Service initiative highlights the many ways teams and team members make a difference through volunteerism and service.

Whether participating in a company-sponsored event, joining a team volunteer project or giving back on your own time, every act of service counts toward the goal.

A group of team members also participated in two gardening volunteer sessions for the Human Resource Development Council’s Story Mill Learning Garden, which supports the food bank and community by growing nutritious food for food bank customers, providing space for therapeutic and educational programming, and raising awareness of the reality of food insecurity in our community.
