TD Garden, owned and operated by Delaware North, has represented energy, culture and community in Boston’s West End for three decades.
Since opening its doors in 1995, TD Garden has been the stage for the city’s most iconic memories: championship banners to the rafters, legendary performances and generations of fans coming together to celebrate history in the making. As the proud home of the Original Six Boston Bruins, owned by Delaware North Chairman Jeremy Jacobs, and the 18-time World Champion Boston Celtics, TD Garden is where Boston’s greatest teams and their fans unite in unforgettable moments of triumph and tradition.
“TD Garden is more than a venue – it’s a place where joy, passion and connection come to life,” said Glen Thornborough, president of TD Garden and chief operating officer of the Boston Bruins.
To celebrate, TD Garden on Sept. 15 launched its Golden Birthday Sweepstakes presented by TD Bank to give 30 lucky fans $300 Garden Gold Gift Cards and three grand prize winners the experience of a lifetime at TD Garden.

The sweepstakes has been promoted across social media, including by the Boston Bruins, the Boston Celtics and influencers, TD Garden’s website, digital screens and email. As of Sept. 19, there are 10,804 entries to the Golden Birthday Sweepstakes, with 55% of entrants opting in to one of the venue’s newsletters or SMS marketing.
Highlights from TD Garden’s Golden Birthday announcement include:
- A $30,000 donation to Community Work Services, supporting job training and employment programs.
- A new $5 value menu at select concessions stands, with fan favorites such as hot dogs, popcorn, soda and pretzels.
- The upcoming launch of a new merchandise line created by local designers, “Garden Threads,” will celebrate iconic Boston sports, concerts and event moments.
- A call for local artists to submit their work to the TD Garden House Artist Program, part of Access the Arts powered by TD Bank.
- The upcoming availability for fans to get commemorative tickets as a marker of their experiences at the venue.
