Delaware North operates The Salt Lick BBQ at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) in Texas – arguably one of the most popular restaurants in the airport.
Time and again, the restaurant has been recognized as being the best of the best. The most recent example can be found in a Feb.20 story by Bloomberg, which gathered insights from business power travelers.
The article, “The best airport restaurants in the world, according to business power travelers,” is a list of eight restaurants at airports around the world – with only three in the United States.
Scott Roberts, owner of Salt Lick BBQ, sent the following note to Terry Mahlum, director of Delaware North Travel operations in Texas, to share with team members:

The barbecue joint’s menu has everything from platters to sandwich combos, classic sides and featured favorites such as a jumbo stuffed potato, pulled pork quesadilla and brisket nachos.
