VOL 26 | ISSUE 10 | MARCH 10, 2025
RISE, Delaware North’s Team Member Resource Group (TMRG) for all women and allies, aims to drive the professional and personal advancement of its members in the workplace and everyday life.
RISE (which stands for Resilience.Impact.Support.Empowerment) is organizing an event on March 25 for Women’s History Month, an official monthlong celebration passed by the United States Congress in 1987.
All team members with Microsoft Suite access can join the upcoming RISE event live on Teams on March 25, and a recording of the event will be shared in a future edition of 360.
Amy Latimer, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Delaware North, is the executive sponsor of RISE. She recently shared her thoughts on what makes RISE so special.
RISE has created a place at Delaware North for our members to discuss topics both professionally and personally, fostering an environment where people share stories, educate and inspire each other.
One of the biggest questions our group members asked each other was about opportunities for internal and upward mobility – we leverage our membership by showcasing people who share the stories of their career tracks both internally at Delaware North and previous work experience. The storytelling and sharing among the group have been truly inspiring.
We are thrilled with the engagement so far. Beyond our regular meetings, the group has a Teams channel where members share their successes and celebrate each other. The connections and camaraderie that have been developed are exactly what we envisioned when we created our TMRGs.
As we celebrate Women’s History Month across Delaware North, we encourage you to share photos and details of your celebrations with RISE and Internal Communications.
