The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake, which Delaware North Parks and Resorts operates for Ashtabula County in Ohio, on Feb. 22 kicked off the 2025 wedding season with a unique outdoor ceremony. After a rough winter of heavy snowfall and single-digit temperatures, the Lodge team worked together to overcome many operational unknowns to make the dream event a reality for the happy couple. Team members cleared the outdoor ceremony walkway and space while warming up the lobby and reception area with a hot chocolate and coffee bar. The opportunity, hosted by WFF members Melissa Billington (front row, far left), catering manager at Coca-Cola Roxy, and Rachel Zeisel (back row, far right), IT manager at Truist Park, provided an opportunity for team members to gain professional development and network with peers at other company units.
Attendees enjoyed lunch provided by Good Game and participated in the WFF’s virtual event, “The Power of Connection: Mastering Professional Networking in Our Social World.”
