Earlier this month, Karen Ballistrea, accounting clerk at Buffalo Niagara International Airport, celebrated 43 years with Delaware North, making her one of the company’s most tenured finance team members. Last week, Delaware North’s Global Business Services team hosted vendor WNS for its annual visit to Buffalo. WNS has been a valued Delaware North partner since 2018, supporting the company’s finance and accounting operations by providing automated solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency. Four WNS employees from India were welcomed to corporate headquarters to collaborate, share ideas and offer a behind-the-scenes look at operations in Buffalo.
Delaware North team members joined the WNS team at the Sept. 23 preseason Buffalo Sabres game at KeyBank Center, where Delaware North is the foodservice provider. The Dr Pepper-presented College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy stopped at Delaware North’s corporate headquarters in Buffalo on Sept. 23 – and team members got to be up close and take photos with the trophy, try Dr Pepper products and even make refreshing ice cream floats.
