Delaware North Australia, which has operated at Perth Airport in Western Australia for over 35 years, last month debuted two locally inspired outlets, Matso’s Brewhouse and Gage Roads Sports Bar.

Matso’s Brewhouse (above), a local brewery, offers classic pub dishes alongside a diverse selection of craft beverages, with its iconic ginger beer and mango beer among the highlights.

Gage Roads Sports Bar (below) offers a relaxed, contemporary setting with hearty breakfasts, sports bar classics and a strong range of locally brewed beers and Western Australian wines.

Scott Socha, president of Parks and Resorts and Delaware North Australia, in March was recognized by the National Parks Hospitality Association for serving eight years as chairman of its board of directors. Socha (at right), who recently completed his time leading the board, received a plaque and compass from the association, presented at a recent meeting by Alex Klein, president of Grand Teton Lodging Company.

The Westin Buffalo at Delaware North’s corporate headquarters recently debuted a refreshed lobby on the fifth floor of the hotel, which is home to the Chairman’s Suite that often hosts VIP guests for nearby appearances and performances.

The bespoke wallpaper, which features famous Buffalo landmarks such as Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House. Shea’s Theatre and The Richardson Hotel, was designed by local artisan wallpaper studio Red Disk in collaboration with Westin Special Projects Associate Alfred Anderson.

Ekin Dedeoglu, a bartender at Nick + Stef’s Steakhouse in New York City, recently stepped into the spotlight as a guest bartender on PIX11 News’ late-night segment “New York Nightcap.” Watch the clip above to see Dedeoglu mix one of the restaurant’s signature drinks – the Butcher’s Breather – made with rib-eye fat-washed Bulleit bourbon, demerara syrup and house bitters.
