The Tampa Bay Times recently published an article highlighting the “Best Five Places to Eat” at Walt Disney World Resort, where Patina Group operates dining locations at Disney Springs and EPCOT. Morimoto Asia, The Edison and Maria & Enzo’s, all operated by Patina Group at Disney Springs – a shopping, dining and entertainment district – made the list.

Morimoto Asia

The spot was one of the first high-profile restaurants to debut at the development in 2015, and its grand opening celebration featured its namesake chef Masaharu Morimoto (you may know him from “Iron Chef”) leading a sake toast and carving a giant tuna in front of a crowd. This two-story pan-Asian restaurant is still holding its own, serving up strong dishes in a swanky setting.
The A-5 Wagyu Burger Bao makes for a great way to start a meal, featuring little patties sandwiched between bao buns along with lettuce, cucumber and a scrumptious sauce. The Mongolian Filet is a great dish for sharing, a 10-ounce Angus beef tenderloin served on a piping-hot skillet with sauteed scallions, bean sprouts, mixed mushrooms and a sweet Szechuan sauce poured tableside.
Opt for one of the ramen bowls if you’re feeling like noodles, or for a more casual approach, hit up the Street Food table outside the restaurant, open daily.
Maria & Enzo’s

This Disney Springs restaurant boasts a fun, glamorous theme – the golden age of air travel – and a gorgeous dining room to complement the Italian fare. A grand staircase leads down to the seating area, which offers natural light and a view of Disney Springs’ charming waterway. Sophisticated starters like the Prosciutto e Melone (prosciutto di Parma, melon, aged balsamic, baby arugula, extra-virgin olive oil) or the Focaccia della Casa (housemade rosemary-lemon focaccia, whipped ricotta, olive oil, sea salt, cracked pepper) set the mood for a fine meal here.
But the pastas are the standouts. Get the Rigatoni alla Bolognese for a classic dish rendered deliciously, or the equally good Paccheri al Ragu’ di Cavolfiore, a cauliflower ragu served over housemade pasta with Calabrian chili and pecorino romano. In keeping with the theme, splurge on the First-Class Ticket, a riff on a Paper Plane cocktail made with Enzo’s Eagle Rare 10-year bourbon.
The Edison

One of the best bars in Disney Springs is The Edison, a two-story restaurant that nods to the 1920s with steampunk decor and live music on a stage downstairs. It’s a great place to come for cocktails (there’s a happy hour from 3-6 p.m. Monday-Friday!) or a full meal, an intimate air-conditioned respite from the crowded streets outside.
From whiskey flights to fun zero-proof concoctions to standby drinks like the tiki-inspired Vic’s Wooden Leg (Appleton estate Jamaican rum, dry curacao, orgeat, lime juice, angostura bitters), there’s something for everyone to sip on. Playful dishes in the “Shares and Nibbles” section are some of the best options here, including a giant pretzel served with mustard and cheese sauces, bacon strips hanging from a mini clothesline and some very solid deviled eggs. The Circuit Board is a must: country ham, handmade buttermilk biscuits, hatch pepper cheese, pickles, ranch pretzels, seasonal fruit butter and barrel-aged maple butter pair perfectly with a strong libation.
