Patina 250, operated by Delaware North’s Patina Group and located at corporate headquarters in Buffalo, last week hosted another sold-out installment of its popular Guest Chef Series.
Mush Love: A Fungi-Inspired Dining Experience, held on June 10, was a collaboration between Patina 250 Executive Chef Evan Wargo, Curate Hospitality Founder Jodi Battaglia and Head Chef Jacob Whitefield of Flat #12 Mushrooms, a local gourmet food purveyor and specialty store.

Patina 250 hosted a multicourse meal highlighting the rich umami of mushrooms through an entirely vegetarian menu. Guests enjoyed a lively cocktail hour in The Westin Buffalo courtyard with fungi-infused drinks and playful passed bites, followed by a five-course seated dinner in partnership with FVP Wines that showcased locally grown mushroom varietals through plant-forward preparations, highlighting the creativity and synergy between the chefs.
