Mindil Beach Casino Resort, which Delaware North owns and operates in Darwin in the Northern Territory of Australia, on July 15 announced the completion of a major renovation project at the property.
The upgrades include the complete refurbishment of The Vue Café & Bar and guest rooms in the beachside tower, along with upgrades to the resort lobby and Infinity Pool changing rooms.
The project represents the latest phase of a broader investment program by Delaware North, which has invested more than $35 million into Mindil Beach Casino Resort since its acquisition in 2019.
“These upgrades are about continuing to enhance the experience for our guests in the areas that matter most,” said Brad Morgan general manager of Mindil Beach Casino Resort. “The refurbishment of the beachside tower rooms, lobby, pool facilities and The Vue Café Bar is a really important step forward for the property.”
Earlier projects have included enhancements to food and beverage venues as well as critical improvements to infrastructure and operations, supporting the ongoing performance and reliability of the resort.
The investment reflects Delaware North’s long-term vision for the property and for tourism in the Northern Territory serving as a driver of economic development, with a continued focus on strengthening operational capability and supporting sustainable growth.

“It builds on a broader program of investment we’ve been delivering over a number of years, focused on making sure Mindil Beach Casino Resort continues to evolve as a leading destination for both locals and visitors to the Territory,” Morgan said.
“Beyond the resort itself, this level of investment creates real benefits for the local economy – from job creation to supporting local suppliers, it’s an important part of how we contribute to the territory more broadly.”
The completion of the renovation was covered by local news outlet, the NT News.
Since 2019, Mindil Beach Casino Resort has also maintained a strong focus on supporting the local community, contributing about $2 million to charities, partnerships and sponsorships across the Northern Territory. This includes support for more than 100 local organizations spanning sport, culture and community initiatives, as well as partnerships with groups such as Waratah Football Club, the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, Darwin Turf Club and October Business Month.
