Main caption: Delaware North Sportservice featured an array of food and beverage specials last month when it hosted two National Lacrosse League championship games at KeyBank Center, home of the Buffalo Bandits and the Buffalo Sabres, such as the Byrne Baby Byrne Sausage, The Milkman Milkshake and Tatchos (loaded tater tots).
KeyBank Center, home of the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bandits, in May, played host to Game 1 and Game 3 of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) Final, with the Bandits securing a 15-6 victory over the Saskatchewan Rush on May 24 to clinch their third consecutive NLL title.
Foodservice provider Delaware North Sportservice added to the championship excitement with food and beverage specials at the games, including:
- Rax’s Stax Burger: A smashed burger patty topped with American cheese, potato stix, meat sauce, mac salad, onions and yellow mustard on a brioche bun.
- Tatchos: Deep-fried tater tots topped with taco meat, shredded cheese, sour cream and chives.
- The Porker: A classic burger topped with Swiss cheese, chipotle BBQ sauce, pulled pork, bacon, onion rings and piggy sauce, served with fries.
- Byrne Baby Byrne: A spicy jalapeno cheddar sausage topped with three-meat house chili, Monterey jack cheese and pickled jalapeno, served on a pretzel bun.
- Owl’s Brew Bourbon Mule: A refreshing beverage made with Basil Hayden Straight Kentucky Bourbon, Owl’s Brew black tea, ginger and lime juice.
- Banners Huckleberry Vodka Soda: A twist on a classic beverage featuring New Amsterdam Vodka, Huckleberry Citrus sour mix and club soda.
- Banditland Margarita: Team-inspired drink made with Camarena Tequila, orange juice, citrus sour margarita mix and lime juice.
- The Milkman: An indulgent chocolate milkshake topped with whipped cream, Bandits sprinkles, salted caramel sauce and a cosmic brownie.
- Cotton Candy Milkshake: A sweet treat featuring blended cotton candy ice cream topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
