Donna Genesky, vice president of retail for Delaware North Parks and Resorts, was featured on Women We Admire’s “Top 50 Women Leaders in Hospitality” list for 2025.
The list, compiled annually by the professional women’s network Women We Admire, notes:
The hospitality industry is a cornerstone of the global economy, built on delivering memorable guest experiences and fostering strong, engaged teams. While women represent more than half of the hospitality workforce, they remain underrepresented in senior leadership roles, especially at the executive and board levels. The leaders recognized this year are closing that gap, bringing the expertise, vision and influence needed to open more seats at the table and shape the industry’s future.
A veteran of the retail industry, Genesky was recognized for her many accomplishments at Delaware North:
Genesky developed a merchandising strategy for the company that is rooted in four product tiers: value, good, better and branded. She led the on-budget, on-schedule redesign and merchandising strategy of the 15,000-square-foot merchandise store at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
Among her many accomplishments, she played a lead role in opening the award-winning store at MetLife Stadium, a nearly 10,000-square-foot location that has the unique requirement of changing its look depending on which NFL team is playing.
She joined the company in 2007, bringing extensive experience in merchandise management, marketing and branding.
