Delaware North leaders from around the world gathered on Feb. 24 at Bridgestone Arena to support Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee during a hands-on volunteer event as part of the company’s 2026 Global Leadership Meeting in Nashville.

Approximately 230 leaders packed about 5,000 bags of shelf-stable food that Second Harvest will distribute to individuals and families in need across the region.

Delaware North also presented a $25,000 donation to the food bank. Presenting the check to Second Harvest’s Courtney Blaise were Tom Barney, president of Sportservice; Adrian Dishington, chief operating officer of Sportservice; Shawn Mattox, vice president of operations for Sportservice; and Michael Geczi, general manager for Sportservice at Bridgestone Arena.

“At Delaware North and within our Sportservice business, giving back to the communities where we live and work is a core value,” Barney said. “This event was about rolling up our sleeves, but it was also about standing with organizations like Second Harvest that are doing this important work every day.”

The location made the effort especially meaningful. With Sportservice serving as the food, beverage and retail partner of the Nashville Predators, Barney said Delaware North welcomed the opportunity to support the Nashville community at Bridgestone Arena beyond game days and events.

The initiative was organized and led by Geczi and Katie Gorman, director of corporate social responsibility and strategic initiatives.
