Debbie Friedel, corporate senior director of sustainability at Delaware North, has been named one of the “Top 100 Chief Sustainability Officers (CSOs) in North America” for 2025. The list, published by the Futur/io Institute, recognizes executives who are “shaping the course of corporate sustainability within major enterprises in North America.” Delaware North is one of only a few foodservice and hospitality companies represented.
Friedel appears among a select group of sustainability leaders from companies such as Amazon, Google and The Walt Disney Co.
The ranking highlights executives advancing the role of North American enterprises toward regenerative futures within planetary boundaries.
Friedel oversees Delaware North’s environmental stewardship program, GreenPath®, and works closely with environmental managers and GreenPath champions across the enterprise. GreenPath organizes and accelerates Delaware North’s efforts to reduce environmental impact and positively contribute to the communities where the company operates, with a focus on supply chain, waste management and energy and emissions.
