Recorded on April 16, the Town Hall began with a video of the CEOs visiting Patina Group’s locations and team members throughout Disney Springs and nearby Walt Disney World Resort – including enjoying curated beverages – served with a twist of magic – at Space 220 Restaurant, The Edison and Maria & Enzo’s.
Seth Rose, vice president of operations and strategic partnerships for Patina Group in Orlando, introduced the CEOs and special guest John Kolaski (JK), president of Patina Group.
Extended contracts, new openings and transformation
The CEOs highlighted recent business wins across Delaware North’s subsidiaries, including extended contracts at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Progressive Field in Cleveland, KeyBank Center in Buffalo and Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, as well as additional locations at Perth Airport in Western Australia.
The CEOs also shared exciting company updates such as new enhancements to the Gaming division’s loyalty program, rebranded as Lucky North® Rewards, and the Delaware North team at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida receiving a perfect score on the recent NASA evaluation.
Charlie Jacobs spotlighted the impressive start to 2025 at TD Garden in Boston, which hosted global events such as the 4 Nations Face-Off (February) and the World Figure Skating Championships (March), drawing sell-out crowds and international buzz.
Jerry Jacobs Jr. shared that Delaware North’s Travel division is opening 26 new concepts at U.S. airports in a span of six months, including national brands such as a Starbucks at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Kardea Brown’s Southern Kitchen, a celebrity-chef concept at Charleston International Airport.
The CEOs also discussed the company’s transformation strategy built on four performance aspirations: elevate hospitality experiences and standards, become a data-driven enterprise, pursue operational excellence and efficiency, and drive market innovation and differentiation.
Patina Group update
JK followed by sharing a look into Patina Group’s journey – from its West Coast beginnings when its Los Angeles flagship restaurant opened in 1989 through its decades of growth and expansion as a bicoastal culinary and hospitality leader.
He emphasized Patina Group’s commitment to “radical hospitality” and teased the reveal of a new brand identity for Patina Group (dropping “Restaurant” from the official subsidiary name) that will formally be unveiled to team members and the public in May.
CHEFS® video
The event closed with a video highlighting Delaware North’s CHEFS® (Culinary & Hospitality Excellence for Future Success) program, showcasing a recent hands-on training for program mentors and graduates in the kitchens at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers and where Delaware North is the exclusive hospitality and retail partner.
