Airport locations celebrate football fever with specialty cocktails

Football fans passing through busy U.S. airports can celebrate their team spirit with limited-time offerings at several travel hubs where Delaware North operates.

Buffalo Niagara International Airport: Delaware North unveiled the #17 Spritz – a cocktail as bold as the Buffalo Bills’ MVP-favorite quarterback Josh Allen. This refreshing beverage is available at all four airport bars: Queen City Kitchen, Anchor Bar, Blue Zone and Market on Elmwood.

Travelers with an appetite can pair the #17 Spritz with the Bills Burger, a fan favorite from Highmark Stadium, home of the NFL team and where Delaware North operates foodservice. This creation features double meat, double cheese, double pickle and Secret Stadium Sauce on an everything bun. Highmark Stadium’s Miller Lite Brew Pub, Pepsi Club, Toyota Club and Dunn Tire Club are also featuring the Bills Burger.

“This collaboration is a fun way to bring a taste of the Bills’ home turf to travelers,” said Joe Schratz, Delaware North’s general manager at Buffalo Niagara International Airport. “It’s about celebrating Buffalo pride and giving fans a unique opportunity to
enjoy stadium-inspired flavors as they journey to their next destination.”

Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport: The Robert Mondavi Experience is joining in the excitement around the Detroit Lions’ success by featuring the Blue Spirit Spritz, allowing guests to toast to their pride. Boise Airport: The 13th Street Pub & Grill and Cross Grain Brewhouse is featuring the Blue Stampede, encouraging guests to celebrate college football bowl season and the success of the local Boise State Broncos football team.
