Luxury bus tours of nearby Yosemite National Park are now part of the experience at the Delaware North-owned-and-operated Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in California.
The AAA Four Diamond-rated resort recently kicked off the fall season by hosting its first-ever Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) Discovery FAM Trip, with the group being the first to experience The Tenaya Lodge Yosemite Tours. Offered year-round, the all-day, guided tours are an ideal and stress-free option for exploring Yosemite National Park’s iconic landmarks.
According to Tenaya’s general manager, Paul Ratchford, the luxury bus tours are great for guests looking for a comfortable adventure that hits all the main attractions of Yosemite. The two high-tech, 19-passenger, Mercedes Benz Caleche Sprinter Tour Buses are equipped with a retractable roof, which allows visitors to soak in the fresh mountain air and savor the views from a truly unique perspective.
Tour stops include awe-inspiring landmarks such as Wawona, Tunnel View, Bridalveil Falls, El Capitan Meadow and Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls. The full-day tour can be booked through the concierge and leaves the resort at 8 a.m. and returns around 4:30 p.m.
The group of seven global sales directors with ALHI and its VIP guests also experienced a celebration dinner at the property’s upscale Ember’s restaurant, relaxing treatments at the LEED-certified Ascent Spa and roasting s’mores beneath the towering trees at the outdoor Summerdale dining venue.
