Southland Casino Racing donated $5,000 to the DeltaARTS’s 33rd annual Janine Earney Celebrity Carnival. The Janine Earney Celebrity Carnival is DeltaARTS’ major fundraising event. Each year for three nights in early August, DeltaARTS airs a televised/web-streamed auction where local personalities come to life as various celebrities to raise funds for the DeltaARTS’s imaginative arts education programs. Hundreds of quality items will be auctioned live from the DeltaARTS Glenn P. Schoettle Arts Education Center on Aug. 4, 5, and 6, starting at 6:30 p.m. Carnival, which benefits the imaginative arts education programs of DeltaARTS, will air on local cable access channel 17 and on the web at deltaarts.org.
