The Los Angeles Times Food Bowl is a monthlong celebration of the unique, diverse and remarkable Los Angeles culinary scene.
As a major player in that scene, Patina Restaurant Group this year stepped up to participate in the event and help raise awareness and funds to fight food waste, hunger and food insecurity.
The Night Market is one of the highlights of the event, bringing together more than 50 restaurants with food trucks, DJs, themed bars and other experiences over five nights in LA’s Grand Park. Each evening featured a different Patina brand: Maple Restaurant, Kendall’s Brasserie, Nick + Stef’s Steakhouse, Ray’s and Stark Bar, and Café Pinot.
Patina Restaurant Group was located inside the Night Market’s “Super Market,” alongside other high-profile LA restaurants. Menu highlights included Maple’s Signature Fried Chicken and Beignets, Kendall’s Duck Fat Garlic Frites, Nick + Stef’s Crab Cake Sliders, Ray’s Margherita Pizza and Café Pinot’s Frozen Foie Gras.
In addition, Ray’s and Stark Bar participated in the Food Bowl’s “A Tutta Pizza Fest” on May 13 at the Hollywood Palladium, featuring Executive Chef Fernando Darin and the restaurant’s Aglio E Olio Pizza.
