Patina Restaurant Group chef wins Food Network’s ‘Chopped’

Bradley Stellings – an executive chef for Patina Restaurant Group, which in May 2014 became part of Delaware North – outlasted three other competitors to win the Jan. 27 episode of Food Network’s “Chopped.”

In winning, Stellings, executive chef at Patina’s French-themed Brasserie in New York City, was awarded a $10,000 prize.

The appearance on “Chopped” was Stellings’ second as he was first featured on the program on Feb. 23, 2014. Stellings, a native of Oshkosh, Wis., has also appeared on Food Network’s “Iron Chbradleystellings-1309366ef America.”

Stellings’ journey to Patina and on-air success began immediately after high school, when he attended New York City’s French Culinary Institute.

He has cooked all over the world at prestigious restaurants, including Nobu 57 and Adour Alain Ducasse in New York City, and Frantzén/Lindeberg (today known as Frantzén) in Stockholm, Sweden, which was voted the 12th best restaurant in the world in 2013 by the Diners Club International.

Stellings, who describes his cooking style as “French with a Japanese influence,” lived in Japan for a year, where he served as the chef at the Kiuchi Brewery.
