The Old Faithful Yellowstone General Store has officially reopened following a full remodel, unveiling the fully realized “Wilderness Retreat” concept inside Yellowstone National Park.
Last month, Delaware North Parks and Resorts, which operates all of the Yellowstone General Stores at the park, celebrated the renovation with a ribbon cutting.
“This next chapter of renovations reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing the guest experience and investing in Yellowstone, alongside our longstanding partnership with the National Park Service,” said Erin Benike, regional general manager for Delaware North at Yellowstone National Park.
The refreshed store reflects the surrounding landscape through natural materials, warm textures and thoughtful details that create a more immersive guest experience. The “Wilderness Retreat” concept, developed by Delaware North’s Visual Merchandising team, is brought to life through custom signage, visual elements and other merchandising accessories implemented during the remodeling process.
The remodel was carefully timed to support Yellowstone’s seasonal opening to support maximum inventory density while maintaining a clean, elevated look. With carefully chosen fixtures designed for optimum efficiency and visual appeal, the result is a refreshed retail space that honors the iconic Old Faithful location while elevating the guest experience for the season ahead.
The Old Faithful store is the first of many remodels taking place throughout the 10 Yellowstone General Stores that Delaware North operates.
