Newly Renovated Cottages Make For A Cozy Fall Getaway At Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite

FISH CAMP, Calif.; September 25, 2017 —Ideal temperatures, golden hues and fewer crowds are not the only reason to visit Yosemite this fall. At the AAA Four Diamond Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, visitors can cozy up in newly renovated cottages, enjoy special seasonal rates and enhance their getaway with Tenaya’s new luxury Yosemite Tours.
Just a short walk from the main lodge and surrounded by towering Sugar Pines and Incense Cedars, Tenaya’s Cottage Rooms offer guests an elegant cabin-like experience in the splendor of the forest. The 53 Cottage Rooms feature a picturesque fireplace for romantic evenings by the fire, and most include patio areas or balconies for soaking up the surrounding natural landscape. The updated contemporary meets nature’s elements design inspires relaxation with a neutral color palate complemented by reclaimed wood, stone, and leather accents. All-new bedding, art work, and an upgraded coffee nook complete with granite counters as well as detailed touches such as new molding, trim, closet doors and fireplace decor create a luxe-mountain vibe perfectly suited to a High Sierra getaway.
“Our cottage rooms offer guests a distinctive experience located adjacent to winding trails and beautiful forest, yet still within close proximity to all of the resort’s sought after amenities including pools, dining venues and Ascent Spa,” said Kathrin Poetter, director of sales and marketing. “They are a great complement to our lodge rooms, which debuted their own new look in 2016, and are an ideal hideaway from which to experience the beauty of the surrounding area.”
