The Major League Soccer season is underway, and Delaware North last week introduced its new menu items for Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minn., home of Minnesota United FC.
The jam-packed lineup of menu items are produced in collaboration with local partners, including The Freehouse, Handsome Hog, Tullibee and more. The new food items are available around the stadium at various concession locations, including Fry Club, The Freehouse, Hungry Loons, World’s Fare, Street Fare, the Brew Hall and Café Beignet.
New food items include:
- Sausage Gravy Poutine – Pickled peppers, cheese curds, fries and chives
- Pow Pow Cheese Curds – Cry Baby Craig’s Pow Pow cheese topping over localfried cheese curds
- Hot Honey Chicken Tenders – Chicken tenders tossed in Cry Baby Craig’s Hot Honey Sauce
- Rotisserie Chicken Sandwich – Rotisserie chicken, arugula, Swiss cheese and basil mayo on a baguette
- Blue Plate Potato Salad – Creamy Freehouse-style potato salad
- Cloverdale Hot Ham and Cheese – Cloverdale pit ham topped with smoked gouda melted cheese
- Loon Stadium Chili – Loon Café’s famous Pecos red river chili with sirloin and masa
- Juicy Swedish Meatball – Oversized meatball with a creamy Swedish sauce filling
- Chicken Samosa – Sweet potato, sweet peas, russet potatoes, stewed in curry and served with lemon
- Tostadas – Tinga, red cabbage, refried beans, avocado cilantro sauce and pico de gallo
- Firebird Chicken Sandwich – Zesty ground chicken patty with poblano peppers, chipotle ranch, guacamole and pepper jack cheese
- The Bishop Burger – Loon Onion Jam, provolone cheese, tomato, mayo, pretzel bun and Old Dutch Chips
- The Dirty Secret – Non-beef patties, special sauce, cheese, lettuce, onion and pickles on a toasted sesame seed bun
- Chicken & Beef Kafta – Chicken or angus beef mixed with spices accompanied by pita bread and onions
- Smokehouse Platter – Smoked dry rub wings, brisket, pulled pork, coleslaw and cornbread
- The Gnome Giant Pretzel – MKE 16 oz. braided pretzel with shaved raclette and pimento cheese
- Cake pops, smoked duck fat chocolate chip cookies, vanilla bean oatmeal cream pie, other assorted desserts
