Miami Valley Gaming, Delaware North’s joint venture with Churchill Downs Inc. in Lebanon, Ohio, on Feb. 8 donated more than $7,000 to the Warren County Special Olympics.

The casino organized a campaign, inspired by the Game Changer program offered at several Delaware North Gaming locations, during which patrons were encouraged to donate the leftover change from their gaming tickets. The charitable effort, which ran Dec. 14, 2023, to Jan. 10, 2024, resulted in $7,094.74 collected in spare change that was donated to the Special Olympics program.

“We are so happy to share the success of this campaign with the Warren County Special Olympics,” said Craig Robinson, president and general manager of Miami Valley Gaming. “The service they provide to individuals within our community is essential in promoting inclusivity and we are proud to support their work.”

Miami Valley Gaming has focused on investing back into the community since opening in 2013. The casino recently donated more than $90,000 to local organizations as part of its 10th anniversary celebration held in December 2023.
