Media Alert: Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to Close Due to Threat of Severe Weather from Hurricane Dorian

CAPE CANAVERAL – (August 29, 2019) – KENNEDY SPACE CENTER – As we continue to closely monitor Hurricane Dorian, we anticipate the closure of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on Sunday, September 1 and Monday, September 2.
 
On Saturday, August 31, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will be open during regular operating hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. but no Kennedy Space Center Bus Tours or Special Interest Tours will be available.
 
During this closure visitors will not be permitted onto visitor complex grounds.
 
Preparations at the visitor complex are well underway in anticipation of severe weather due to Hurricane Dorian.
