ESTES PARK, Colo. (May 25, 2017) – Delaware North, one of the largest privately held hospitality and food service companies in the world, today announced the opening of Latitude 105 Alehouse, a new restaurant at The Ridgeline Hotel Estes Park in Estes Park, Colo.
The 231-seat Latitude 105 Alehouse will serve gourmet burgers, craft beer and Rocky Mountain-inspired pub cuisine. The hotel and restaurant are located just a few miles from both the Beaver Meadows and Fall River entrance stations to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Latitude 105 Alehouse’s new design has created a sophisticated mountain ambience through the use of natural woods; warm, textured fabrics; and an open layout. In addition to a new name, logo and interior, Delaware North has also brought in a new executive chef, Jacob Tew, a certified chef de cuisine who previously worked for the company in Yellowstone National Park. Tew, a native of South Carolina, will incorporate his Southern influences in addition to the restaurant’s regional inspiration.
Tew and his team have built the restaurant’s new menu around a signature item: gourmet burgers. Guests will be able to choose from a menu of options or build their own from a base of Colorado beef, elk, bison, grilled chicken, turkey or vegan patties. Local ingredients and suppliers will also be on the menu, including Denver-based Harvest Moon Baking Company bread, plus Colorado-sourced meats and ice cream. The restaurant will feature 12 regional beers on tap and two of its own exclusive wines, Twin Owls White and Rocky Mountain Red.
“Delaware North is known worldwide for our culinary operations, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring that expertise to Estes Park,” said Kyle Forgey, general manager of The Ridgeline Hotel Estes Park. “Latitude 105 Alehouse will be a destination for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a comfortable yet pristine setting – hotel guests and locals alike.”
The company will also integrate its core business systems and processes, including its highly regarded customer service program, GuestPath®, and its environmental stewardship platform, GreenPath®, into the restaurant’s operations.
Delaware North acquired The Ridgeline Hotel Estes Park (formerly Rocky Mountain Park Inn) in November 2016. After extensive renovations, the hotel is scheduled to open in the coming weeks.
