Hamburg Gaming reimagining culinary options with planned new restaurant, menu offerings

New restaurant with three food styles opening by year’s end to replace former buffet

Hamburg Gaming, located at the Erie County Fairgrounds, today announced a new restaurant at the gaming facility to open by year’s end.

The restaurant, which will replace the former Midway Buffet dining area, will feature menus catered to guests’ top-three requested food styles: fried, comfort and grilled foods. The nearby dining room, which used to host private events, is also being reimagined and updated.

Hamburg Gaming’s dining options currently include the Blue Ribbon Grill, the Cyclone Bar, Tim Hortons and the Winner’s Circle Café, which overlooks the Buffalo Raceway.

“After the Midway Buffet was closed for more than two years due to the pandemic, we’re excited to bring a new, refreshed look and feel to the space,” said Mike Miles, Hamburg Gaming’s general manager. “Our guests expect not only great gaming and entertainment, but great food, too.”

Construction for the new restaurant has begun, including removing a wall to open up the space to the casino floor. More information about the new restaurant, including the name and specific menu features, will be announced this fall.
