Jim Henson’s Emmy Award-winning show “Fraggle Rock” has arrived at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, which Delaware North operates for NASA in Merritt Island, Fla., in an all-new original live stage show.
The show, developed in collaboration with the Jim Henson Company, features Fraggle favorites Gobo, Red and – for the first time ever in a live production – Uncle Traveling Matt, as they embark on an out-of-their-world adventure through the inner workings of NASA’s space program.

The characters follow a mysterious postcard from their magical underground world all the way to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, where they make a special connection with our world and learn about NASA’s Artemis missions and humanity’s next giant leap to the Moon.
“Fraggle Rock: A Space-y Adventure” also features puppet versions of the Doozers and an actor portraying a member of the Exploration Ground Systems Crew.
The show was written, directed and choreographed by John Tartaglia, who serves as the creative supervisor of Fraggle Rock at the Jim Henson Company. Tartaglia discussed the collaboration between NASA, the visitor complex and the Jim Henson Company in stories with local Orlando media, sharing that “It felt like these two worlds belong together,” as he learned more about NASA and the work being done at the visitor complex.

The show is performed twice daily in the Universe Theater and is included with admission to the visitor complex.
