For Couples Who Love Yosemite, Tenaya Lodge Has Been Named A Top Hotel For Weddings

FISH CAMP, Calif., February 2, 2017 Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, an AAA Four Diamond Resort just outside the south gate to Yosemite National Park, is ushering in the new year with a prestigious wedding award and an exciting summer bridal special that allows couples an opportunity to save during the peak of wedding season.
As an esteemed recipient of the recently announced 2017 WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award, Tenaya Lodge was recognized in the top five percent of wedding venues on WeddingWire, a leading global online marketplace for the wedding and event industry. The prestigious awards were given to the top local wedding professionals across more than 20 service categories, from wedding venues to wedding photographers, based on excellence in quality, service, responsiveness, and professionalism. Winners were determined solely based from the more than 2.5 million reviews from real newlyweds and their experience working with Tenaya Lodge and other industry vendors.
“Research has shown that a third of all engagements happen between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day, so we are now in what’s considered the height of wedding planning season,” said Kathrin Poetter, Director of Sales and Marketing for Tenaya Lodge. “WeddingWire’s award couldn’t have come at a better time by validating for brides and grooms what a spectacular choice Tenaya Lodge is for their special day. Our amazing staff guides couples every step of the way to ensure that they have the wedding of their dreams.”
With the summer season being the most sought after time to wed in the High Sierra, Tenaya Lodge is offering couples more date options and a special way to save with its Summer Midweek Wedding Special. Couples who opt to have their event Sunday through Thursday, between June and August 2017, will save 50% on the venue rental— leaving more money left over to enjoy Tenaya’s romantic activities from side-by-side spa treatments to moonlit flashlight hikes.
Tenaya Lodge is perfectly positioned for hosting stunning mountain weddings. Among the property’s spectacular venues for saying “I do” are the Signature Grand Terrace, an outdoor space with breathtaking mountain vistas, and the 3,000 square-foot outdoor Pavilion. The resort also includes 15,000 square feet of indoor event space, including a 10,000 square foot ballroom.
Tenaya’s signature “Bridal Valet” ensures that couples receive exquisite service and attention to detail during their special event. The Bridal Valet is a designated lead server assigned to greet the couple after the ceremony with their first glass of champagne, provide hors d’oeuvres for the bride, groom and bridal party during post-ceremony photos and attend to the couple throughout the reception including personalized service of their dinner and beverages. The Bridal Valet also assists with setting up the couples special items and touches, such as toasting glasses and cake knife.
