Timothy McEvoy is senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for Delaware North, a global leader in hospitality and entertainment.
In this role, McEvoy manages the legal function for the company and provides advice and counsel to senior management in all legal matters involving Delaware North and its operating companies. His responsibilities also include oversight of the company’s numerous regulatory and legal compliance requirements, along with its vast array of licenses throughout the world.
Prior to his appointment as general counsel, McEvoy served for three years as Delaware North’s deputy general counsel, where he was responsible for the oversight of the internal legal department and managing relationships with outside counsel. He played a leadership role in the Gaming division of the company, advising and providing strategic legal counsel to the senior leadership team on matters of compliance, business development and mergers and acquisitions.
McEvoy previously served for 12 years as general counsel and secretary of Integer Holdings Corporation, a $1.4 billion medical device outsource (MDO) manufacturer based in Clarence, N.Y., where he was a member of the executive leadership team and managed the global legal affairs of that company.
McEvoy also spent time in progressive leadership roles in the Legal department at M&T Bank and in private practices based in Buffalo, NY and New York City.
A lifelong Buffalonian, McEvoy has served on the boards of many local organizations, including a current term on the board of Kaleida Health and a ten-year term on the board for the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Canisius College and earned his Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School.
