Mike McCabe serves as chief legal & compliance officer and general counsel for Delaware North, a global leader in hospitality and entertainment.
Among his responsibilities, McCabe oversees the legal and compliance functions and provides advice and counsel to senior management in all legal matters involving Delaware North and its operating companies. His responsibilities also include oversight of the company’s numerous regulatory and legal compliance requirements, along with its vast array of licenses throughout the world.
McCabe has over 25 years of experience as an attorney. He first joined Delaware North in 2015 as assistant general counsel, managing litigation across labor, commercial, regulatory and insurance matters. He later served as chief compliance officer, guiding the company on risk management and regulatory compliance while supporting its business objectives.
Previously, he practiced at Phillips Lytle LLP in Buffalo and held public service roles as deputy chief of the narcotics and organized crime section at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Buffalo, an assistant district attorney for Erie County and a New York State assistant attorney general.
McCabe serves as secretary of the Jacobs Institute and as a board member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo and the BISON Children’s Scholarship Fund. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Colby College and a juris doctor from Yale Law School.
