Delaware North Parks & Resorts and New York State Park Unveil New Website For Niagara Falls State Park

Site features more updates and more connectivity


NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (August 13, 2007) – Delaware North Parks & Resorts in conjunction with the New York State Park has unveiled their new website for Niagara Falls State Park – www.niagarafallsstatepark.com. The website features many new and state-of-the-art tools designed to keep visitors updated on various events happening throughout the Park. 

The new Niagara Falls State Park website features a monthly schedule of programs and special events visitors can participate in while visiting the park. Niagara Falls is noted for the romantic and majestic views and is one of the top marriage destinations in the world. On the re-designed website future brides and grooms can request a wedding information packet regarding ceremony and reception details within the park. The website also includes a list of shopping and dining opportunities, along with attractions and activities happening around the area. 

“The launch of the new website will provide guests both locally and throughout the world the opportunity to plan a trip to Niagara Falls State Park prior to their arrival. Since there are so many different things going on at the Park the website will ensure that they won’t miss a thing,” stated Michael Barnes, general manager of Niagara Falls State Park. 

Visitors can now register their e-mail address and receive updates concerning upcoming events at Niagara Falls State Park. One of the current promotions featured on the website is the “Passport to the Falls.” The “Passport to the Falls” package provides visitors with a day full of fun. The package includes admission to Maid of the Mist, a half-hour boat tour to the base of the Falls; Cave of Winds, where one can walk less than 20 feet from the torrents of Bridal Veil Falls; Niagara: Legends of the Adventure, a the 40-minute film featuring the history of Niagara Falls; the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, a venue full of interactive displays for all ages; the Observation Tower, offering an incredible elevated view of the Falls; Aquarium of Niagara, where audiences can view exhibits, performances and feedings with 1,500 aquatic animals; and all-day trolley transportation between the attractions. This all-inclusive deal also gives visitors an opportunity to experience the beautiful Niagara Region beyond the Falls by offering discounts to Artpark, Old Ford Niagara, Lockport Locks, Erie Canal Cruisers, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House Complex, Fashion Outlets and the Niagara Wax Museum of History. Tickets can be conveniently purchased in advance at the new website and picked-up at the visitor’s center upon arrival at the park.
