Delaware North Opens Memphis City Blues at Memphis International Airport

Wine Bar concept to serve food, drinks and over 40 varieties of wine


dscn0981_120small-3695513Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services, one of the world’s leading airport food and retail providers, opened Memphis City Blues, a new wine bar featuring a large selection of wines, spirits and gourmet food at Memphis International Airport this week.

Memphis City Blues will serve as a relaxing haven for travelers. Along with providing food and beverage, the restaurant will provide music that embodies the local Memphis R&B music scene.
 
“Memphis City Blues is an exciting concept and an extension of our Gateway Concept as it will provide travelers with the tastes and sounds of Memphis,” said Matt King, president of Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services. “It’s a nice addition to our current food and beverage offerings at Memphis International Airport.”
 
The concept is located in Memphis airport’s Terminal B and is 552-square-feet in size. Primarily a wine bar, Memphis City Blues will feature more than 40 selections of wines from around the country. The concept will also offer premium liquors, draft beer and food selections including cheese and fruit boards, grilled panini sandwiches, seasonal salads and shrimp cocktails.
 
Memphis City Blues joins preexisting Delaware North concepts including Back Yard Burgers, Famous Familiga Pizza, Vito’s Market and Sam Adams Bar, among others.
