WHITEFISH, Mont. (May 31, 2017) – Delaware North, one of the largest privately held hospitality and food service companies in the world, today announced that it has completed renovations to the Pine Lodge hotel in Whitefish, Mont.
The upgrades to the hotel – including new beds, linens, flooring, tile, appliances, fixtures, furniture and artwork in all guest rooms and common areas – make Pine Lodge an even more attractive destination for travelers to Glacier National Park.
In addition to cosmetic updates, new amenities were also introduced on the property. A dock was installed on the Whitefish River with kayaks and stand-up paddleboards available for guests to enjoy. Delaware North also made a donation to the Town of Whitefish to help complete a trail from the hotel that extends to downtown Whitefish and beyond. The lodge has added a fleet of bikes for guests to take advantage of this new feature.
Finally, the property now features a new conference room, boardroom and outdoor fire pits overlooking the river. The new amenities, design and color palates were all carefully selected to enhance the hotel’s pristine location along the Whitefish River.
“After a long day of exploring Glacier National Park, our guests deserve a relaxing and comfortable respite to come back to,” said Kristen Stokes, general manager of Delaware North’s two Whitefish hotels, Pine Lodge and the Best Western Rocky Mountain Lodge. “With these renovations, we’re excited that the inside of the hotel is now a better complement to the splendor of our surroundings.”
Pine Lodge, located on the doorstep of majestic Glacier National Park, offers comfortable and year-round accommodations for guests traveling through Whitefish, Mont. This AAA Two Diamond-rated facility is situated alongside the Whitefish River, with many of its rooms boasting views of the surrounding mountain tops.
Iconic Glacier National Park is a mere 25 miles away from the lodge, offering an abundance of recreational opportunities, including local world-class skiing, golf, hiking, mountain biking, rafting, kayaking and hunting.
