At KeyBank Center, home of the Buffalo Sabres, Executive Chef Stephen Forman introduced a menu of new-look hot dogs and a specialty burger — all twists on classic arena favorites. One hot dog, called The Agitator, features an all-beef hot dog with redhot slaw, bacon and Snickers bar crumble, and blue cheese crème.

Throughout the season, each Lightning player will also team up with Capital Tacos to develop and name its signature Taco of the Month. A portion of the taco’s sales is then donated to a charity of the players’ choice.

“With all of the ongoing renovations and all the things that the team does to freshen the experience for the fan, part of that is the food experience,” Delaware North Executive Chef Wade Gnann told the Predators’ website. “We work very hard over the summer to bring fresh and new offerings to everyone that comes in. We’ve got a lot of diehard fans with a lot of high expectations. That’s what we work for every summer.”
Many of the new food items this season have a distinctly Southern flair. New items include Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese, Hot Chicken Fries, the Biscuit Burger, and Nashville’s Finest Dog made with BBQ pork, hot chicken and pimento cheese.
