Keith Crippen Wins Alex Osborn Award At Addy’s

BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 26, 2007) – Keith Crippen, Manager of Creative Services, Corporate Communications and Marketing for Delaware North Companies, was named the winner of the 2007 Alex Osborn Award for Creativity at the 2007 Buffalo ADDY’s. 

The award recognizes individuals who, through outstanding creative achievements, have left an indelible mark on the Western New York creative community. Crippen’s individual achievements have helped strengthen local advertising and graphic design as well as gain recognition on a national level.

Crippen has been a staple in the Buffalo advertising community for over two decades. In his current role with Delaware North, Crippen is responsible for the creative, marketing, and advertising services of the company. 

“Keith is a talented creative designer and an outstanding person as well,” said Wendy Watkins, Delaware North Companies vice president of Communications. “Delaware North Companies is extremely proud of all of his accomplishments.”

Before joining Delaware North Companies in 2005, Crippen managed the creative team for the Office of Creative Service at the University of Buffalo. Prior to sharing his expertise with advertising majors at UB, Crippen held senior leadership roles at several top-level marketing and advertising agencies in Western New York. Among the agencies are Crowley Webb and Associates, The Wolf Group, Mitchell DeTine & Partners, Travers-Schutte Company, and Hallmark Advertising. 

During his career in Buffalo, Crippen has received numerous advertising and marketing awards, working with clients such as M & T Bank, Fisher-Price, National Fuel, Sorrento Cheese, Rich Products, Canadian Tire, and numerous other national and global brands.

The award is named in honor of Alex Osborn of the famed advertising agency Batten, Barton, Durstine & Osborn.
