Delaware North Companies' Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack announces the June 29 groundbreaking of Purple Haze Center, a 10,000-square-foot standalone thoroughbred adoption facility on the racetrack's grounds. The new facility, the first of its kind on a racetrack, will serve as central headquarters for the Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program (FLTAP).

Wheeling Island Racetrack & Gaming Center’s President and General Manager, Bob Marshall, along with local dignitaries and community leaders officially opened the gaming center’s new Compass Room and renovated racetrack apron with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. 

Saratoga Gaming & Raceway is now one of two facilities to host the first ever Wide Area Progressive Video Gaming Machines in New York State. The link is now up between Saratoga and Monticello Gaming and Raceway. 

Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack and Sackatoga Stable have announced that Funny Cide, the 2003 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner, is set to run in the 32nd running of the $100,000 Wadsworth Memorial Handicap at Finger Lakes on Wednesday, July 4.

Saratoga Gaming and Raceway officially opened its expansion Friday. Participating in the ribbon cutting ceremony were Senator Joseph L. Bruno, Senator Hugh T. Farley, Deputy Director of the New York State Lottery Susan E. Saratoga Gaming and Raceway announces their expanded gaming floor with over 400 new machines and a High Limit area will open at 10:00am Friday, May 25th.

New York State's first video gaming facility announced major headlining acts scheduled to appear this summer in their new night club; Vapor. The expanded gaming floor with it's new High Limit area, Garden Buffet, and new night club are scheduled to open May 25th with a grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting.
