Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, which Delaware North operates for NASA, is open

BUFFALO, N.Y. (Jan. 20, 2018) – Delaware North, a global hospitality company that also serves as a concessioner for the National Park Service, is continuing to operate lodging, food and beverage, and retail services at several national parks that remain accessible amid the government shutdown.

“We have been informed by the National Park Service that it is keeping the national parks accessible and allowing concessioners to continue to operate visitor services in the parks,” said Scott Socha, president of Delaware North’s parks and resorts business. “We are pleased that our employees will be able continue to welcome and serve guests coming to the parks.”

As a result, Delaware North is continuing to operate hospitality services at these national parks:

  • Grand Canyon National Park – Lodging (Yavapai Lodge and Trailer Village RV Park), food and beverage, and retail services
  • Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks – Lodging (Wuksachi, John Muir and Cedar Grove lodges and the Grant Grove cabins), food and beverage, and retail services
  • Yellowstone National Park – Yellowstone General Stores
  • Olympic National Park – Kalaloch Lodge

Please note that Shenandoah National Park lodging and roadside retail services are closed for the season.
