BUFFALO, N.Y. (Feb. 09, 2007) - Major League Baseball recently announced Busch Stadium in St. Louis will be the site of the 2009 All Star Game. This gives Delaware North Companies Sportservice another chance to host a high-profile professional sporting event as the company is currently contracted to provide food service and retail operations at Busch Stadium.

"It’s always an honor and a challenge to be selected as the host for such a spectacular event as the MLB All Star Game,” said Rick Abramson, president of Delaware North Companies Sportsservice. “We’re looking forward to challenging ourselves to provide the premier food and hospitality service that the MLB and its fans deserve. This excellent opportunity to host a major sporting event only helps us to grow stronger and better at what we do.”

This will be the second Midsummer Classic that Delaware North Companies Sportservice has hosted within a four-year span – the previous being the MLB All Star game at Comerica Park in Detroit in 2005.
