Geoff Goodman is senior vice president of corporate development for Delaware North. In this role, Goodman is responsible for cultivating new business opportunities through acquisition or strategic investment for the portfolio or new business lines. He also oversees the divestiture of locations that no longer align with the company’s future growth plans.
Goodman, a finance, corporate development and analytics executive, joined Delaware North in 2022 after three years with a large-scale hospitality real estate investment trust, MGM Growth Properties. At MGM Growth Properties, he most recently served as senior vice president of finance. In that role, he completed over $22 billion worth of transactions while overseeing inorganic growth through strategic planning, investment sourcing, deal structuring and capital raising.
Prior to MGM Growth Properties, Goodman spent nearly 10 years in successive leadership roles with casino-resort operator and developer Pinnacle Entertainment. At Pinnacle, he was instrumental in many transformative transactions, which helped the company grow by six times its size during his tenure.
Goodman began his career in 2006 as an investment banking analyst at CIBC World Markets Corporation in Los Angeles. From 2006 to 2008, he served as a senior analyst of corporate financial planning and analysis with Las Vegas Sands Corp.
Goodman graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration – finance from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.
