Delaware North ‘rings’ in 2022 MLB season with first-of-its-kind item for defending World Series Champion Atlanta Braves while announcing new items at 11 ballparks

New items include unique twists on classic ballpark fare

BUFFALO, N.Y. (April 7, 2022) – It’s Major League Baseball’s Opening Day, and Delaware North Sportservice culinary teams are ready to usher in the 2022 season with an emphasis on local flavors, products and partners.
Delaware North – which manages foodservice at 11 MLB ballparks, with eight locations also including retail operations – this week introduced new menu items at media preview events in several markets.

“The offseason gives our teams at every ballpark the opportunity to test new recipes, establish additional local partnerships and thoroughly analyze our operational footprint to find ways to improve convenience and speed of service – including through fan-facing technology solutions,” said Jamie Obletz, president of Delaware North Sportservice.

Highlights include:

  • Truist Park (Atlanta Braves): Headlining the new food offerings is The World Champions Burger, which features a half-pound Waygu beef burger on a toasted, Irish-buttered brioche bun, topped with cage-free pan-fried eggs, gold-leaf-wrapped Hudson Valley foie gras, grilled cold water lobster tail, heirloom tomato, garden-fresh bibb lettuce, Tillamook cheddar cheese and truffle aioli. Served with hand-cut parmesan waffle fries in the Coors Light Chop House.
    • Food is just part of the offer with The World Champions Burger – which is paired with either a replica World Series Championship ring or a limited-edition World Series Championship Ring while supplies last.
