Buffalo-based global hospitality company recognized with ADDY Awards
BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 13, 2008) – Delaware North Companies has once again received accolades for its communications and advertising work from the Advertising Club of Buffalo. The company received four awards for its innovative and enthusiastic approach and will collect them at the 2008 ADDY Awards show March 28.
“Home Plate,” Delaware North’s second cookbook, received two nods of recognition for its internal design and cover design, courtesy of the Wynne Creative Group. Artistically, the cookbook highlights different dishes inspired by the chefs of Delaware North Companies Sportservice, offering fans a rare glimpse at how to prepare ballpark favorites in the comfort of their own kitchens.
Delaware North also won for best sales presentation for work conducted with The Martin Group for a response by Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services to a New York / New Jersey Port Authority request for proposal. The company also won an ADDY for best audio/visual sales presentation for a video designed by Delaware North’s creative services group highlighting a 2007 company retail summit in Buffalo.
Organized by the American Advertising Federation, the ADDY Awards is a competition focused on finding and rewarding the best advertising campaigns locally, regionally and nationally/internationally.
The 2008 ADDY Awards, Buffalo Chapter, judged selected advertising in the surrounding Western New York region. In past years, Delaware North Companies has been recognized for its “Pathways to Plate” cookbook and a Sportservice presentation to the New York Yankees, as well as for its product and packaging advertising.
The 2008 ADDY Awards will be held March 28 at Kleinhans Music Hall, hosted by the Advertising Club of Buffalo
