ST. PAUL, Minn. (Feb. 27, 2024) – Delaware North, the hospitality partner of Minnesota United FC at Allianz Field, today introduced a diverse array of new culinary offerings for the upcoming 2024 Major League Soccer season.
Collaborating with food and beverage partners such as Grand Casino, Red Baron, Bibigo, Old Dutch, Pepsi, Coors, Heineken, Lupulin, Castle Danger, Wild State, Jose Cuervo and Roots for the Home Team, Delaware North promises an enhanced culinary experience for soccer enthusiasts.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the additions:
Roots for the Home Team – Jalapeno Popper Salad (Vegan): A rotational salad featuring quinoa, red onion, zucchini, carrot, tomato, jalapeno, corn, cilantro and an herb-garlic dressing. Roots for the Home Team is the next step for youth already participating in community gardens. Using the produce they have grown, teens working with Roots for the Home Team create gourmet salads with Delaware North chefs, gain work experience selling those salads at this Allianz Field outpost, and take university-level courses to discover their strengths to help them become who they want to be as adults. Bibigo Fried Rice + Chicken: Korean-style crunchy chicken with sweet and spicy sauce on a bed of fried rice. Available at Nice Slice World Fares near Sections 12 and 29.
Red Baron Pizza: A classic thin crust favorite, served in the Nice Slice World Fares near Sections 12 and 29.
Herbivorous Butcher – Turkey Sub (local): A toasty ciabatta roll brushed with garlic mayo, layered with plant-based cheddar and shaved, planted-based turkey. Finished with fresh arugula and sliced red onion (vegan). Available at the Global Street Grill near Section 16.
Cry Baby Craig – Hot Honey Kicken Chicken Sandwich (local): Cry Baby Craig’s Hot Honey Tenders topped with pickle chips and coleslaw. Available at Fry Club near Section 24.
Quebracho – Beef and Vegetable Empanada (local): Savor the flavors of beef with green olives, hard-boiled egg, cumin, and paprika, or indulge in ricotta cheese and spinach with garlic, nutmeg, and black pepper. Available at Street Fare near Section 10.
Union Hmong Kitchen – United Bowl (local): A blend of rice noodles, grilled chicken, fresh cucumber, pickled vegetables, shredded cabbage, herbs and ginger vinaigrette. Available at Street Fare near Section 16.
El Sazon – Quesabirria (local): Birria, Oaxaca cheese and salsa, served on tortillas and consome at The Grill near Section 36.
Cubano: Enjoy a classic Cubano with smoked pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles and dijon mustard on a ciabatta roll. Available at Street Fare near Section 34.
