    STAMFORD, Conn. and BUFFALO, N.Y. – January 28, 2014 –Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.(NYSE:HOT) and Delaware North today announced that Starwood’s world-renowned Westin brand will soon debut in Buffalo, N. Y. The Westin Buffalo will open in June 2016 at 250 Delaware Avenue as part of a new 12-story mixed-use development that will house Delaware North’s world headquarters.

    December 2, 1993: STS-61 Endeavour launched on the first servicing mission for the Hubble Space Telescope. The mission was a success after two teams of astronauts completed five back-to-back space walks totaling 35 hours, 28 minutes.     On Thursday, Dec. 4, NASA is scheduled to launch its uncrewed Orion spacecraft into space for the very first time, making history as the spacecraft travels 15 times farther from the Earth than the International Space Station (ISS). This first flight paves the way for future flights that will carry astronauts to asteroids, Mars and beyond. Now, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is giving its guests the chance to share in this historic mission, called Exploration Flight Test-1, or EFT-1, with a variety of exclusive launch viewing opportunities and special events.
