Jeremy Jacobs, chairman and chief executive officer of Delaware North Companies and owner of the Boston Bruins, took part in a panel discussion at the World Congress of Sports in New York City on March 22. The discussion, titled, "How Much Higher Will the Price Tag Go?" focused on the global economic impacts of sports.

Delaware North Companies was once again recognized in high regard at the 2007 ADDY Awards, Buffalo Chapter. Delaware North and its’ various subsidiaries won a total of 10 awards, including six courtesy of Wynne Creative Group and four thanks to The Martin Group.

Jeremy Jacobs, chairman and CEO of global hospitality company Delaware North Companies and owner of the Boston Bruins, has provided a $1 million gift with his family to support an endowed chair in Immunology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in Buffalo, NY. The gift was made to RPCI’s Leaders for Life endowment campaign in honor of Jacobs’ brother, the late Dr. Lawrence D. Jacobs, an internationally renowned immunology researcher who died in 2001.

Asilomar Conference Grounds, home to the world’s largest collection of Julia Morgan-designed Arts & Crafts architecture, has completed a $1.2 million renovation to Morgan’s Grace H. Dodge Chapel Auditorium.A team of architectural, environmental and historic building specialists collaborated on the project, guided by original structural drawings borrowed from the engineering library at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Delaware North in a joint venture with the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) is proud to open a 20,000 sq. ft. expansion of Boston’s North Station train concourse area.Tracks and platforms have been moved back nearly 80 feet to substantially ease the congestion for all arena visitors and the more than 50,000 commuters who pass through the Garden each workday.This five million dollar expansion project, financed entirely by Delaware North Companies – Boston is sure to enhance the TD Banknorth Garden experience to Garden patrons and commuters alike.

Nine chefs belonging to the subsidiary families of Delaware North Companies recently earned the prestigious distinctions as a Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC) by the American Culinary Federation (ACF), and Pro Chef II by the Culinary Institute of America (CIA).

Delaware North Companies Sportservice recently contributed $5,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows in Northern Nevada. The money will help ease the cost of programming expenses at seven site locations of the Boys & Girls Club in the Reno-Sparks community. Delaware North Companies Sportservice is proud to donate the money to a club known as "The Positive Place for Kids."
