Betly Casino & Sportsbook celebrates first anniversary with promotions and charitable donation

Betly Casino & Sportsbook this month is celebrating its first anniversary of offering iGaming to players in West Virginia, marking the milestone with dozens of promotions and a $5,000 charitable donation in collaboration with Mardi Gras Casino & Resort.

Betly is the statewide online casino and sportsbook app of Mardi Gras and Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack, both of which are owned and operated by Delaware North in West Virginia. Gamewise, the company’s online gaming division, operates
Betly in West Virginia.

“We’ve had a great first year in welcoming tens of thousands of West Virginians to Betly and benefitting the State of West Virginia with significant revenue,” said Todd San Jule, general manager of Gamewise.

Since launching, Betly has offered customers hundreds of promotions, many tailored to pay homage to the great state of West Virginia, including weekly recurring free spin happy hours, Mountain State Mondays and a celebration of West Virginia Day.

To celebrate its birthday with patrons through Aug. 30, Betly is offering uniquely themed promotions – including tournaments, swag giveaways, bonuses, gifts and a VIP Birthday Bash.

Betly representatives on July 19 joined Kato Moy, president and general manager of Mardi Gras, for a presentation of $5,000 to the United Way of Central West Virginia. The donation garnered media attention from local CBS affiliate, WOWK-TV.

“Giving back to the local communities where we operate is important to Delaware North, so Gamewise is proud to make this contribution to the United Way to support so many organizations that aid residents in Charleston and surrounding communities,” San Jule said.

In June, Betly launched its 500th online casino game in West Virginia with the addition of Light & Wonder’s Perfect Peacock Coin Combo. Betly features other games from Light & Wonder and other producers IGT, Evolution and Everi, and anticipates launching its 600th game later this year
