Feature Film On History Of Niagara Falls Added To Passport Package

All-inclusive "Passport to the Falls" allows visitors to experience everything that Niagara Falls offers

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (June 28, 2007) – A large-format feature film on the history of Niagara Falls has been added to the “Passport to the Falls” package that allows families to see top Falls attractions at a significant discount.

Niagara: Legends of Adventure began showing in late May at the Niagara Falls Visitor Center’s renovated Niagara Adventure Theater. Destination Cinema completed $500,000 in theater renovations, including the installation of a large-format IWERKS projection system, 45-by-25-foot screen, and surround sound.

Admission to the 40-minute film is now included in the Passport package developed by the Niagara Falls State Park and jointly marketed with Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts, which operates gift shops at the visitor center and other park locations, as well as the Top of the Falls restaurant and other food service concessions at the park.

The “Passport to the Falls” package provides visitors with a day full of fun. Besides the film, the package includes admission to Maid of the Mist, a half-hour boat tour to the base of the Falls; Cave of Winds, where one can walk less than 20 feet from the torrents of Bridal Veil Falls; the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, a venue full of interactive displays for all ages; the Observation Tower, offering an incredible elevated view of the Falls; Aquarium of Niagara, where audiences can view exhibits, performances and feedings with 1,500 aquatic animals; and all-day trolley transportation between the attractions.

At a cost of $28 per adult and $21 per child ages 6 to 12, the Passport is significantly less expensive than the cost of purchasing individual attraction tickets. Visitors will save more than 35% off of the regular priced admission as well as get other value added coupons to local area attractions. Children ages 5 and under are free.

This all-inclusive deal also gives visitors an opportunity to experience the beautiful Niagara Region beyond the Falls by offering discounts to Artpark, Old Ford Niagara, Lockport Locks, Erie Canal Cruisers, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House Complex, Fashion Outlets and the Niagara Wax Museum of History.

The “Passport to the Falls” package is available at the Niagara Falls State Park Visitor Center and can be purchased in advance online at www.niagarafallsstatepark.com.
